A few things to know about how Geiger fits into your setup.
What do I need to run Geiger?
An Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 13 or later, and Soundminer V6 with Radium. The AAX workflow also requires Pro Tools with the Radium AAX plugin. Windows is in development.
Does Geiger play the processed patch?
Geiger plays the audio samples stored inside the patch, without Radium’s processing or effects. Load the patch into Radium to hear its processed sound and performance settings.
Do I have to reorganize my library?
No. Choose the folder containing your existing .radium patches. Geiger searches that folder and its subfolders. Your patches stay where they are.
Will Geiger change my patches?
Searching and auditioning don’t modify your patches. Renaming, editing notes, slot names or categories, and Patch Doctor cleanup are separate actions. Content edits and cleanup create backups. If a patch is already loaded in Radium, saving it there can overwrite external edits.
How does the seven-day trial work?
You receive a download link and trial key by email. The full app is included, with no credit card required. Your seven days begin when the trial key is issued, so request it when you’re ready to try Geiger in the studio.
Is it a subscription?
No. Geiger is a one-time purchase. The current price is $150 through October 15. Your purchased key lets you continue after the trial with your library, index, and settings in place.
